Applications are invited for a post-doctoral fellow with interests in promoting self-regulation in children with autism spectrum disorder, cognitive neuroscience, and neuromodulation. This fellow will work with a Senior Scientist and multi-disciplinary research teams in the Bloorview Research Institute (fully affiliated with the University of Toronto), CONNECT lab, Autism Research Centre, and the Province of Ontario NeuroDevelopmental Network (POND) and other partners and community organizations.

This post-doctoral fellow will contribute to a CIHR funded research program focused on improving self regulation for children with autism and their families via transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS). They will contribute to ongoing projects in the lab including recruiting participants, administering assessments and interventions, working with TMS and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). This position requires someone with experience in some of the following areas: neuromodulation, cognitive neuroscience, magnetic resonance imaging, clinical trials and effective writing and knowledge translation skills. The postdoc will contribute to CONNECT lab projects, work collaboratively with the Research Coordinator and help mentor students within the lab.

This is a 1-year, temporary full-time position with potential for renewal depending on funding and performance.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Contribute to data collection (e.g., organize recruitment, conduct assessments, administer TMS, acquire MRI), data analysis, and KT activities
- Write, prepare, and format manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals
- Support the training and supervision of research students
- Develop new ideas, project proposals including grants, research protocols
- Present your work at conferences
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**
- Recent PhD in Cognitive Neuroscience, NeuroRehabilitation or Medical Sciences, Psychology, or related field
- Strong academic record and previous research experience preferred
- Experience with transcranial magnetic stimulation, transcranial direct current stimulation, or magnetic resonance imaging
- Experience with quantitative data analysis and REDCap, SPSS or R, preferred
- Advanced word processing skills (MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Endnotes), technical competencies, and ability to learn new software as needed
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks in a timely manner
- Flexibility to adapt to a changing workload
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Experience working with people with disabilities is an asset
- Commitment to and support of the organizational mission and vision of the hospital and the CONNECT lab
- Experience with neuroimaging (MRI) analysis preferred
