Who You Are:
As a clerk, you will be responsible for the cleanliness of the Distribution Center corporate office and showrooms area of the Cousens building.
What You’ll Do:
Housekeeping (75%)
- Ensure regular cleaning and cleanliness of the kitchen and bathrooms in the Distribution Center area at all times
- Monitor the stock of coffees, teas, sweeteners, and milk on the kitchen in the Distribution Center area and communicate shortages to Executive Assistant manager.
- Ensure all utensils are available at all times (cups, lids, cutlery, stirrers, dish soap, hand soap, hand towels, paper plates etc.) and communicate any shortages of accordingly to facilities manager
- Verify and discard any expired milk and items in the kitchen on a weekly basis
- Clean out the refrigerator on a weekly basis
- Ensure all machines are working properly in the kitchen (coffee and water dispensers).
- Ensure the DC restrooms are fully stocked with the following: toilet paper, soap dispensers are full, hand soap is available where required. Communicate any shortages of restroom supplies to facilities manager
- Support above items in corporate offices during market
- Ad-hock setup and takedown of special events (summer BBQ, meeting setup, etc..)
Facilities (25%)
- Assist with facilities vendors as directed from the facilities manager
- Monitor the DC and Offices for any general repairs and communicate to the facilities manager accordingly
- Monitor any furniture that needs to be repaired and communicate to the facilities manager
- Other ad-hoc projects as required
You’ll Need to Have:
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects
- Excellent organizational skills
- Proactive and flexible
- Flexible schedule
- Ability to lift 25-35lb boxes
- Ability to stand for 8 hours
- Ability to communicate in either French or English
