The Funding Arrangement team is a portfolio within the Finance department, focusing on the management of health service funding arrangements and providing outreach and agreement advisory services to First Nations and health service organizations serving First Nations in BC.

**Title**: Funding Arrangements Advisor
**Salary**: $74,075- $80,046 per year (pay range explained below)
**Contract**: Term until 31st March 2026
**Hours**: 37.5 hours, Monday
- Friday (core hours
- 9:00 am
- 3:00 pm)
**Location**: Coast Salish Territories of the Musqueam Nations
- Metro Vancouver: Alberni Office
- (Hybrid - minimum 50% in the office).
Please note, this role will be relocating to our new office building in North Vancouver on Tsleil-Waututh Nation (TWN) land, south of Mount Seymour Parkway, after Nov 2024.

**About the role**
As a Funding Arrangements Advisor, you will work collaboratively with First Nations and health service organizations, as well as internal FNHA partners to provide a coordination function with community, regional engagement staff and FNHA program areas to support First Nations and health service organizations in developing capacity and capabilities including governance structure, accountability systems, risk assessment and management, program and service mandates, and health care delivery mechanisms. Additionally, you will develop and recommend action plans to address observations and findings of audit reviews and reconciliations.

**About you**
- University Diploma in Business Administration or relevant field, plus three (3) years of related experience working with First Nations communities, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Knowledge of FNHA community health and wellness programs and services considered an asset
- Knowledge of FNHA health funding arrangements considered an asset
- Awareness of the importance of First Nations cultural identity as part of a healthy, balanced lifestyle for individuals within a community.
- Strong skills in data entry, manipulation and retrieval techniques, and database management.
- A valid BC Driver’s License is required

The Pay Range is the minimum (Step 1) and maximum (highest Step) annual base salary based on full time equivalent hours.

We have a mandatory COVID-19 vaccination policy for all employees at First Nations Health Authority. This policy requires all employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. If selected for employment, you will be required to provide proof of vaccination by providing a copy of your BC Vaccination Card Passport with the QR code.
