**The Role**:

- Assisting with reporting and analysis of CLBC's performance results
- Responding to collective bargaining developments and supporting CLBC's participation in cross-ministry strategic initiatives
- Conducting ad-hoc projects to support CLBC strategic goals in matters of funding, reporting and accountability

Other accountabilities include:

- Acting as the primary contact, internally and externally, for any issues relating to CLBC's annual rate collection process
- Assisting in the development and continuous improvement of the Excel-based variance comparison tool
- Providing guidance and/or one-on-one support to service providers in completing required forms
- Testing newly developed Automation Tool enhancements and modifications, including identifying test discrepancies and concerns and providing feedback

This role requires the ability to interpret and adapt information tailored to the interests and understanding of a variety of audiences; manage concurrent projects; and analyze and interpret high volumes of complex data sets and user requirements.

Experience with multi-faceted policy and/or prograM/Funding assessment and reporting of financial results; and analyzing and reporting within a multi-location environment are key. Experience with process development in large and complex not-for-profit/government organizations is an asset.

**Qualifications**:

- Relevant Bachelor's Degree in Commerce/Business Administration
- Demonstrated interest in pursuing the CPA Canada accounting designation
- Intermediate to Advanced use of MS Excel, MS Word, and Web-based contract management systems

**Hybrid work**:Combines on-site office work with flexibility to work from home after passing a 6-month probationary period

**Additional Info**:
Status/Term: Auxiliary - Anticipated 70 hours bi-weekly with a term end date of May 31, 2024
Classification/Salary: Financial Officer 18 - Starts at $31.05 hourly
