**The Opportunity**

We are looking for an accomplished Compensation and Benefits Manager to join our HRteam as part of our financial services business in Montreal.

As part of our Montreal team you will:

- Develop and maintain Total Rewards vision and guiding principles through consultation and collaboration with senior leadership.
- Develop and maintain total rewards policies and framework to support business objectives, in line with agreed guiding principles.
- Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of our rewards programs to ensure they are aligned with our business and talent strategies and monitor market trends to make recommendations for changes, as appropriate.
- Determine competitive salary bands and develop and modify compensation plans to support the development of compensation strategy.
- Drive compensation calibration and alignment internally and to market, through the use of global grading system and salary surveys-.
- Gather and analyse data to review, benchmark and propose recommendations (e.g. salary survey, benefit plans, pension plans), in turn providing salary survey data submissions to vendors for participating countries globally.
- Design models for jobs evaluation, salary increases and special salary plans to meet the company’s business objectives and desired retention strategy
- Conduct compensation analysis for new roles and new hires to ensure internal equity and market alignment.
