Lumenus Community Services is hiring an enthusiastic 2SLGBTQ+ Youth Wellness Peer Facilitator to join the We Are Wellness team and support the co-development and delivery of holistic, peer based psychoeducational wellness programming for at-risk 2SLGBTQ+ youth, ages 12-18, in Toronto.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Collaborate with other Peer Facilitator and Wellness Mentor to develop holistic wellness workshops;
- Support implementation and co-facilitation of holistic wellness workshops;
- Collaboratively design and implement project evaluations;
- Incorporate active anti-racist and anti-oppressive stances, language, and messaging within programming in order to create as safe a space possible;
- Effectively model anti-oppressive behaviour and language, and proactively and effectively address and counter any instances of oppressive language and behaviour;
- Support the creation of effective advertising for We Are Wellness programming;
- Provide informal, confidential support and referral to relevant services to meet required needs in the context of workshop facilitation.
**QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE**
- Knowledge of, and working experience with 2SLGBTQ+ youth from anti-oppressive, intersectional framework;
- Lived experience within the 2SLGBTQ+ community and non-institutional wellness practices;
- At least 1 year of experience in group facilitation;
- Knowledge of, and willingness to learn more about, anti-oppressive holistic wellness practices for 2SLGBTQ+ youth and communities in the Toronto area;
- Non-judgmental attitudes about diverse topics, particularly those related to sexual health, diverse forms of spirituality, harm reduction, and mental health;
- Ability to communicate about health and holistic wellness in ways that support development and enhancement of community wellness practices;
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
**ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS**
- Satisfactory clearance under the Vulnerable Sector Screening process;
- Ability to work varying hours that may include evenings, weekdays, weekends depending on training, consultation, peer activities, and workshop scheduling;
- Must be able to participate in team meetings, supervision, and training sessions as needed;
- Ability to work respectfully and collaboratively with wider staff teams and abide by Lumenus policies.
