**EAM (TOMS) Regional Support**

Working remotely, the TOMS (Tire & Operations Management System) Regional Support provides technical support to the Canadian Mining Tire Group Operations team and their customers to help ensure the effective running of TOMS in the region. This role sits on the MTG Business Insights team and contributes actively to many of the team’s ongoing projects and initiatives. TOMS is an Enterprise Asset Management software utilized across Kal Tire's divisions.

While this position services a variety of duties and responsibilities, there are three primary objectives of the position:

- Site configuration and data preparation for migrating and maintaining sites on TOMS.
- Regional dispatch and sensor data flow management (configuration and maintenance).
- Technical support to Operations - system usage and issue resolution.

**CORE RESPONSIBILTIES**:
Site Configuration
- Provide clear communication to Operations of requirements to set up and configure a mine site on TOMS. This includes:

- using available tools to perform data extracts.
- Develop new tools and processes as required where gaps exist.
- Site Migration
- Set up the following elements in TOMS using information provided by Operations.
- Mine Site Profile and Configuration.
- Asset configurations (tires, rims, equipment).
- Data cleansing support based on Operational decisions.
- Data migration and creation of data upload files.
- PM schedules, task lists and automated WO generation.
- Manage customer license set up and BI reporting permissions.

Data Flow Management
- Dispatch data configuration and file transfer management based dependent on site (location) needs:

- Maintain good working relationship with Customer dispatch and IT departments to enable the smooth transfer of data using both Kal Tire and customer protocols.
- Assist with/manage meter & data transfer file configuration and revisions.
- Responsible for maintenance of various internal configuration files.
- Problem identification & resolution with Customers (with Operational support)
- Manage TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems) data flow support from site as required.
- Design and build TOMS automated report configuration as per individual customer requirements

Technical Support
- Provide extensive technical support to Operations. Liaise with other internal teams on system bugs and issues.
- Build tire, rim and equipment configurations for sites as needed.
- Responsible for mobile device management and administration.
- Make site PM schedule, task list and alert management changes for sites.
- Communicate effectively when it comes to maintenance outages and updates.
- Communicate version updates to Operations explaining WHY changes are happening, HOW this impacts them and WHAT benefits the changes bring.
- Provide a monthly “TOMS Usage” report to Canadian Operations team:

- Identifying observed site level issues (ie. unfinished work orders, tires in “hold”, missing tire prices, trucks with missing tires, etc.)
- Participate in monthly Global TRS (TOMS Regional Support) conference call to share issues, experience, and help develop group TOMS knowledge.

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES**:
Work Experience
- Minimum of two years in an IS/IT systems or support function role.
- Experience of using Middleware software.
- Demonstrated experience/expertise in using tire maintenance/management software.
- Demonstrated ability to define, collate and analyze data relative to heavy mining equipment.

Relevant Skills
- Experience working within enterprise asset management systems.
- Good working knowledge of Azure, Power BI and Office 365.
- Dax and SQL languages preferred.
- Inquisitive nature to seek out, identify and resolve issues.
- Ability to influence managers across the organization without direct authority.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in written form. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members, managers and external entities.
- Effective and engaging written presentation skills.
- Ability to maintain and ensure the confidential nature of the MTG documents and records.

Education
- Diploma and/or degree in Computer Sciences or a related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
