**Job Overview**

Regional Janitorial and Maintenance is ready to empower an Operations Manager to lead our evolving janitorial projects across all client facilities in the GTA. Reporting to the VP of Operations, the Operations Manager’s primary accountability is balancing the execution of janitorial projects, Team leadership, continuous improvement and client services.

**Salary**: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 annually

**Employment Type**: Full-time, permanent

**Closing Date**: April 8th, 2024

**Schedule**: Monday to Friday from 3:00pm to 11:00pm

**Key Accountabilities**
- Lead by example; join our Janitorial Associates and Subcontractors in preparing, cleaning, and maintaining client facilities.
- Foster, promote and be accountable for a positive and safe work culture.
- Collaborate with our Operations Lead and VP of Operations to address client inquiries and requests.
- Schedule and coordinate service deliverables and employee work shifts.
- Manage employee relations activities such as scheduling, coaching, payroll, performance management and offboarding.
- Ensure that services are performed according to service specifications and scheduling while exceeding client expectations.
- Attend and participate in all client and team meetings and request for proposal events.
- Be an equal-business partner; join the leadership Team in staying up to date on industry trends and best practices.
- Conduct facility quality inspections and implement corrective actions.
- Actively lead and contribute to health and safety and security initiatives at client facilities.
- Maintain and use a variety of janitorial equipment and tools.
- Manage the procurement and logistics of project materials.
- Participate and contribute to ongoing learning and development programs.

**Job Requirements**
- A minimum of 3 years of maintenance, janitorial or custodial management experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Versatility, flexibility, and a proven track record of exceeding client expectations within constantly changing priorities.
- Self-drive in meeting project deliverables, deadlines, and client expectations.
- Positive, professional, safety oriented and client-centric attitude.
- Proven experience as a collaborative Team player.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Professional working proficiency of the English language.
- The ability to speak and understand Spanish fluently is an asset.
- Ability to work in diverse weather conditions in both indoor and outdoor environments, including confined spaces.
- Working knowledge of janitorial operations, best practices, and standard procedures.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, stand for long periods and lift and work with materials up to 55 lbs.
- Valid Ontario driver’s license, clear driver’s abstract and ability to drive to client facilities.
- Posses a clear criminal record.
- Ability to work overtime hours and according to an on-call schedule that meet the needs of Regional's evolving projects.
