Multi-Line Claims Adjuster

**Claims Adjuster to join our growing team
**The Multi-Line Claims Adjuster is primarily responsible for investigating insurance claims and determining
the amount of loss or damages covered by the policy.

**Position Requirements**:

- Postsecondary education or equivalent training and work experience
- Chartered Insurance Professional Designation (CIP) an asset
- Valid driver’s license and own transportation
- Minimum three years of related experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Experience with insurance software
- Experience with Auto Bodily Injury and liability insurance investigations an asset
- Understanding of the mutual insurance system and its philosophy an asset
- General knowledge of reinsurance procedures
- General knowledge of building construction materials and techniques
- General knowledge of litigation regulation and procedures
- Detailed knowledge of claims adjustment practices
- Familiarity with property damage scoping and estimating

**Personal Attributes**:

- Ability to work individually as well as part of a team
- Communication skills, written and verbal
- Maintains a positive working relationship and liaison with all business partners (e.g., employees,

customers, third parties, etc.)
