Raison d’être du poste
- Superviser les activités financières courantes du secteur dans le but d’assurer une saine gestion financière et de donner des conseils à la haute direction pour appuyer la planification stratégique à long terme. Superviser et diriger une équipe d’employés chargés d’assumer une variété de fonctions liées aux activités financières et administratives du secteur, pour assurer un environnement productif et positif et pour donner des conseils et un soutien de haut niveau dans le cadre des questions plus complexes. Au besoin, représenter la haute direction dans les comités centraux ayant des mandats liés au secteur de responsabilité du titulaire.
- Gestion des opérations
- Budget : Superviser l’administration des budgets financés à l’interne ou à l’externe pour assurer la conformité aux politiques établies. Comparer les états financiers aux budgets des divers types de fonds pour déceler et corriger les incohérences. Définir les priorités budgétaires du secteur et donner des conseils spécialisés aux gestionnaires sur la préparation efficace des budgets, les projections budgétaires et les déficits. Définir des indicateurs de rendement financier clés et surveiller leur rendement.
- Achats : Servir d’agent d’approbation pour l’approvisionnement en biens et en services du secteur, pour assurer la conformité aux contrats des fournisseurs.
- Paie : Superviser la vérification des rapports sur la paie de tous les groupes d’employés, y compris le personnel de soutien à temps partiel et les salaires du corps professoral, au sein du secteur, pour assurer l’exactitude des salaires et pour corriger les incohérences liées aux prévisions budgétaires et aux dépenses réelles.
- Processus et procédures : Concevoir et implanter de nouveaux processus, procédures et méthodes de travail ou modifier ceux en place, et surveiller que son équipe s’y conforme afin d’améliorer continuellement les activités pour maximiser sa productivité et son efficacité.
- Gestion de dossiers : Mettre en place et gérer un système efficace de classement et de gestion de dossiers pour préserver la confidentialité des dossiers et veiller à la disponibilité de documents complets et exacts à des fins de consultation future ou de vérification.
- Ce que vous apportez:

- Connaissance approfondie des principes de comptabilité, normalement acquise au moyen d’une formation postsecondaire dans une discipline connexe ou combinaison équivalente d’études et d’expérience de travail.
- Au moins cinq années d’expérience dans un rôle semblable
- Connaissance des systèmes informatiques et des logiciels, y compris les systèmes financiers, les tableurs, les bases de données, Internet et le courriel.
- Un titre comptable professionnel constitue un atout.
- Expérience en supervision.
- Expérience en participation à la planification stratégique.
- Expérience de la planification, du contrôle et de l’analyse des budgets.
- Expérience de l’analyse des rapports.
- Excellentes aptitudes en relations interpersonnelles et en communication.
- Bon sens de l’organisation.
- Haut degré de discrétion.
- Bilinguisme - français et anglais (expression orale et écrite).
