**Position summary**:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated health professional to contribute to our organizational mission.

**Responsibilities**:

- Design, test, and document the entire solution architecture of the EMR solution.
- Assist in the market analysis and tool evaluation and testing.
- Provide technical advise in the tool selection and procurement process.
- Make recommendations for appropriate solutions and platforms after carefully evaluating, and analyzing all feasible options.
- Assess and analyze all potential risks and issues related to the solution, and develop a mitigation plan/strategy.
- Provide consultation and technical support to business teams and the implementation team.
- Continuously evaluate the solution and make adjustments as required.
- Ensure the solution meets security, performance, scalability, and other requirements.
- Understand the current IT infrastructure and processes to identify potential obstacles with the solution deployment.
- Planning and configuration of system components, both on-prem and cloud, pertinent to the EMR project, Hypervisors, Windows Servers, SQL Server, and, Linux Servers.
- Support the Business Analyst in Collaborating with stakeholders across multiple divisions and programs to gather and understand their needs and requirements.
- Assist in creating and updating documentation for the EMR Solution.
- Provide support to the Manager, Special Project - EMR to oversee and implement direction for the EMR Project.
- Performs administrative and other duties to support the function.
- Provides input into the budget process upon request.
- Assists in developing long terms strategies and capacity planning for meeting future hardware and software technology needs for the EMR solution.
- Provide mentoring and support to other members of the EMR project team.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 3-year degree or diploma in Computer Science or related discipline.
- Must possess relevant experience in EMR/EHR or e-Health solution.
- Must be familiar with security best practices and implementation guidelines.
- Advanced experience in full stack development, frontend, mobile & web, (UI/UX), business logic, and databases.
- Experience with systems integration, API, web services, ETL.
- Experience in tool assessment, evaluation and selection.
- Advanced knowledge in systems administration, database and cloud administration.
- Experience with Hyper-V and VMWare virtualization is preferred.
- Experience with Azure Iaas and PaaS services is preferred.
- Experience with multiple cloud providers such as AWS and GCP is an asset.
- Strong communication, troubleshooting and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated organizational, planning, time management and analytical skills.
- The ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and assignments.
- Ability to explore, assess and promote new methods and technologies.
- Ability to work independently.
- Demonstrated ability to function cooperatively in a multidisciplinary field.

- Advanced oral and written proficiency in English is essential.
- Advanced oral and written proficiency in French is an asset.
- Satisfactory police reference check in accordance with agency policy for those for whom this is required.
- Ministry of Labour “Worker Health and Safety Awareness in 4 Steps” training certificate is required.
