***Job Summary**:
The Building Automation (BAS) Systems Specialist will perform building automation system analysis at client sites and via remote terminals. The specialist will also perform all duties and responsibilities as outlined at the Key Responsibilities section as well as other duties outlined by the manager.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Developing excellent working relationships with customers ensuring effective customer communication.
- Support sales initiatives and participate in reviewing estimates.
- Participate in growing the BAS service cliental.
- Support the Service Coordinator on planning, developing, implementing, and managing field teams.
- Assist with service strategies to meet and exceed YTD performance goals and objectives as outlined
- Participate in hiring quality individuals, assist with training and development plans
- Assist with the closure of service work to ensure scope and cost budgets are achieving plan
- Perform commissioning and system diagnostics and complete commissioning documentation.
- Obtains building automation system trend data to identify system improvements
- Identifies and develops energy efficiency improvements for facility mechanical systems
- Troubleshoot, repair, and coordinate in-depth repairs of building-automation-system
- Support RBAS and remote Engineering as required.
- Develop advanced knowledge of Schneider Electric engineering and programing tools.
- Accepts responsibility for assigned tasks and completing them on time.
- Expanded customer facing role, always representing the company in a professional manner
- Support the internal stakeholders with the delivery of project scope in construction and service related works
- Able to coordinate work with internal/external Electrical, Plumbing and / or Mechanical trades
- Takes on project commissioning documentation role, for as built purposes.
- Assists with field level quotations and project related costing exercises.
- Demonstrated coordination, organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills.
- Ability to multi-task, work within a fast-paced environment, and prioritize conflicting demands.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and motivate field technical employees.

**Qualifications**:

- A minimum of five (5+) years of experience in a facility requiring similar Operations and maintenance services in both magnitude and complexity
- Minimum of two (3+) years experience programming and installing Building Automation Systems (BAS)
- Programming building automation systems: 2 years (required)
- Niagara N4/AX certification or other automation vendor professional certification
- C.E.T. designation preferred
- Certified Energy Management certificate preferred
- Effective customer service as well as verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrate coordination, organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills.
- Ability to multi-task, work within a fast-paced environment, and prioritize conflicting demands.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and motivate field technical employees.
