Indigenous Engagement Leader

**The focus of this role**:
We have an exciting opportunity to work on behalf of Capgemini and our clients, developing and facilitating inclusive partnerships with Indigenous peoples, organizations, and communities to increase participation in project and operational delivery. Our clients are introducing new and sustainable technology to a wide variety of communities across Canada, from those that are truly remote to those that are urban.
**Required Skills**:
- Must be an Indigenous Leader.
- Familiarity with the CCAB PAR certification process.
- Strong connections within Indigenous communities (First Nations).
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Develop and manage Capgemini's Indigenous Engagement plan.
- Advise Capgemini on Indigenous engagement with relevant Indigenous-owned providers and communities to develop long-term partnerships and go-to-market strategies.
- Advise Capgemini's go-to-market team on Indigenous involvement and engagement with communities in support of new business development.
- Develop engagement plans to grow sustainable relationships with Indigenous peoples, organizations, and communities while managing the achievement of contractual commitments through planning and execution of account strategies.
- Track the spending related to Indigenous resources on different client accounts.
- Develop and implement systems and tools to track, evaluate, and continually improve the effectiveness of Capgemini's Indigenous engagement plan.
- Recommend and onboard Indigenous-owned businesses to partner with Capgemini.
- Provide guidance and support to Capgemini and client staff to enable best practice cultural awareness in the way Capgemini and the client connect with and work with Indigenous peoples.
- Own and manage Capgemini's membership and relationship with CCAB and other relevant organizations as identified.
- Lead Capgemini's participation in the CCAB PAR certification program to ensure the organization reaches its target certification level; currently PAR Committed.
- In this role, you will work across Canada for our Utility clients across various business functions and technology transformations. You will contribute to our clients and the communities they work in as they move together along their change journeys - drawing upon Capgemini's accelerators and methodologies with personality, precision, and predictability to help our clients realize measurable, positive business outcomes.
**What will you bring**:
You will have Indigenous engagement experience with a passion for sharing your knowledge, experience, and perspectives. You will be familiar with and have experience implementing Indigenous engagement frameworks.
In addition, you will be comfortable delivering excellence as evidenced through:
Qualification or equivalent experience in one or more of the following disciplines is desirable: Social or Behavioral Science, Engagement, Community Development, Arts, Psychology, or Indigenous Relations, relevant to the role's responsibilities and key performance areas.
Technical knowledge of human behavior and demonstrated experience in building and maintaining genuine long-term collaborative relationships would be highly regarded.
**Other Requirements**:
- Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Office software.
- Possession of a current Canadian driver's license.
- Ability to travel.
