Here's how a Building Systems Coordinator for our Winnipeg office contributes to our team:
**Responsibilities**:

- Assist project team with coordination of building systems trades for compliance to drawings, specifications, quality, and schedule.
- Assist with coordination drawing process.
- Reads and understands the building systems trade contractor quality-management programs. Witnesses on-site field testing and records results.
- Oversee commissioning process, including scheduling, testing activities, and project close out.
- Chair various meetings related to building systems.
- Assist project team with building systems commissioning document deliverables.
- Attends management and architect meetings related to building systems.
- Adheres and supports internal safety programs.
- Effectively communicates with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues.
- Develops and maintains strong customer focused relationships with all stakeholders, including owners, consultants, jurisdiction authorities and trades.

**Qualifications**:

- Tradesperson or post-secondary diploma/degree in a related discipline (e.g., mechanical, electrical, controls) is preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Co-op or relevant experience in a construction environment preferred.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical systems.
- Familiarity with construction progress and sequencing.
- Effective verbal and written communications skills.
- Demonstrated flexibility and ability to work in a face-paced environment.
- Planning, organizational, and time management skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize tasks with conflicting deadlines, and delegate tasks.
- Ability to quickly adapt and become proficient with new software.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
