**We have an exciting opportunity in our growing Montréal office for a broker to work on some exciting accounts (strictly commercial broker). We have an exciting opportunity in our growing Montreal office for a Damage Insurance Broker, Commercial Insurance on our General Industries team.**

As a broker at PRL, a typical day might include the following:

- Providing superior client service and account management;
- Developing and communicating an understanding of a client’s business by conducting research and analyzing client’s operations;
- Assisting with client coverage questions, managing account concerns or issues encountered and successfully addressing small to complex problems in a timely manner;
- Interacting regularly with clients and underwriters and building relationships with professional counterparts at client and insurance company organizations;
- Compliance with company workflows including inputting new clients in the broker management system, maintaining proper records for reporting and auditing purposes and ensuring all client records are uploaded to our system;
- Reviewing all insurance documents to ensure they are current and for accuracy;
- Preparing key insurance documents, including Broker of Record letters, Underwriting Submissions, Quote Comparison Reviews, Pre and Post-Renewal Reports/Placemats, Binders, Policy Reviews (1st reviews) and Summary of Insurance;
- Managing day-to-day aspects for designated accounts and conducting ensuing account management tasks including generating and coordinating calendars and timelines, liaising between internal senior professionals and business accounts, and representing the business to ensure superior client service and account management;
- Preparing renewal files for Client Executives 90+ days prior to renewal;
- Supporting market placement;
- Assisting with client proposals/reports, analysis and presentations as required;
- Reviewing and commenting on insurance contract sections and indemnity provisions.

En tant que courtier(ère) chez PRL, une journée typique pourrait inclure les tâches suivantes:

- Offrir un service client supérieur et une gestion des comptes ;
- Développer et communiquer une compréhension des activités des clients en effectuant des recherches et en analysant leurs opérations ;
- Aider les clients avec leurs questions de couverture, gérer les préoccupations ou problèmes de compte rencontrés et résoudre avec succès des problèmes simples à complexes en temps opportun ;
- Interagir régulièrement avec les clients et les souscripteurs, tout en construisant des relations avec des homologues professionnels chez les clients et les compagnies d'assurance ;
- Respecter les processus internes de l'entreprise, notamment en enregistrant les nouveaux clients dans le système de gestion des courtiers, en maintenant les dossiers appropriés pour les rapports et audits, et en veillant à ce que tous les dossiers clients soient téléchargés dans notre système ;
- Examiner tous les documents d'assurance pour s'assurer qu'ils sont à jour et exacts ;
- Préparer des documents d'assurance clés, y compris les lettres de désignation de courtier, les soumissions de souscription, les examens de comparaison des devis, les rapports avant et après renouvellement, les liasses, les révisions de polices (premières révisions) et les résumés d'assurance ;
- Gérer les aspects quotidiens des comptes désignés et effectuer les tâches de gestion de compte qui en découlent, y compris la création et la coordination de calendriers et de délais, la liaison entre les professionnels seniors internes et les comptes commerciaux, et représenter l'entreprise pour garantir un service client supérieur et une gestion des comptes ;
- Préparer les dossiers de renouvellement pour les directeurs de comptes 90 jours ou plus avant le renouvellement ;
- Soutenir le placement sur le marché ;
- Aider à la préparation des propositions/rapports des clients, analyses et présentations, selon les besoins ;
- Examiner et commenter les sections des contrats d'assurance et les dispositions d'indemnisation.
