The Chimo Youth Retreat Centre is a non-profit organization that has served children, youth and families in the Edmonton region for over 50 years. Our great team provides a broad range of programs and services to youth between the ages of 13-18 that include securing housing, training in personal living skills, relationship skills, parenting support, education, and supports for independence Together with our community partners, we assist young people on their road to successful independence.

The Chimo CSD Family Wellness Program provides integrated, safe, effective, and creative services for families. Being integrated means we work cooperatively with many other child, youth, and family services - this means quicker access to supports. Our teams include a manager, supervisors, Family Wellness Coordinators (FWC), and Family Wellness Coach (FWC). All team members have a formal degree or diploma, have experience in the human services field, and adhere to a code of ethical standards.

Due to an internal promotion, we are in search of a full-time Program Manager.

**This role will be responsible for**:

- Supervision, support, and mentorship of program supervisors.
- Create positive working relationships within the FW program and across Chimo, including with the manager-director, finance, and administration teams.
- Build positive collaborative relationships with leaders from external partners, including with Child and Family Service leadership, colleague CSD agency leaders, community organizations, etc.
- Administration i.e. database, paperwork, monthly/annual reports, policy, process improvement.
- Monitoring and responding to high-level program administrative tasks, including financials, quarterly and annual reporting, contracts, etc.
- In concert with Chimo’s Vision Planning process, ETO reporting, and best practices in quality improvement and change models, build a culture of continuous improvement focusing on improving outcomes for children, youth, and families.

- Integrity and accountability. Builds trust with others by taking responsibility for actions, following through, telling the truth and, to paraphrase Barbara Coloroso, saying what you mean, meaning what you say and doing what you say you’re going to do.
- Superior communication skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. Builds positive working relationships using superior written and verbal communication skills. Able to have complex conversations with stakeholders, including program participants, family network members, Children Service representatives, Chimo personnel, etc. Talented at engaging and including a wide network of professionals in program-level conversations.

**Credentials and Experience**:

- Superior organization and technology skills.
- Significant experience working in CSD is an important requirement.
- Strong proven history of leadership, adaptability, and dedication to the communities they serve.
- A master’s degree will be considered a significant asset.

Pay: $82,000.00-$84,000.00 per year
