**Job Title**:MacOS Specialist (Level 2)

**Location**:Vancouver and the Lower Mainland

**Position**:Hybrid

**Salary**:$35-$45hr

Our team is seeking a MacOS Specialist with a great track record supporting Apple MacOS systems. We utilize a strong remote management stack to support our various clients and we're passionate about keeping them happy, so we need a MacOS Specialist that can work with us to make this happen The ideal person will have excellent communication skills, experience troubleshooting MacOS and Windows issues, be familiar with basic command line troubleshooting, and have experience using JAMF for device management. Experience working for an MSP is also considered a big bonus.

**Your Responsibilities**:

- Support end-users by providing technical guidance and solutions in a clear and concise manner
- Utilize JAMF to manage and maintain devices across the organization
- Create PowerShell scripts to perform reports or deploy software to Windows systems
- Create, test, and deploy MDM profiles for MacOS
- Onboarding and offboarding users and their computers in Active Directory
- Be able to work well under pressure, and train users on best practices for using their MacOS or Windows devices
- Drive to customer locations to provide in-person customer support where remote support is exhausted/not possible

**Job Requirements**:

- 2+ years of experience in IT support with a focus on supporting Apple MacOS systems
- Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP), or equivalent experience
- Technical support experience supporting MacOS, Windows, mobile devices (Android, iOS), backup platforms (eg. Datto, N-able, Veeam), enterprise-grade antivirus, Microsoft 365, and Google Workspace.
- Experience with JAMF device management software
- Familiarity with basic command line troubleshooting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Great people skills and above average patience
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

**Bonus Experience**:

- Currently working or previous experience working for an MSP is an asset
- Experience with Service Now or Autotask
- Experience with Windows or Linux servers
- Experience with Network Hardware's like; Sophos, Meraki, Ruckus
- Understanding of networking concepts and protocols
