Overview:
Reporting direct to the Key Account Manager and to Sales Manager of GVA Ready Mix, the incumbent follows the team’s commitment to safety excellence, drive to be the employer of choice, focus on industry leading service and solutions. The Sales Support is responsible for supporting the RMX Sales Team in all areas including gathering project information, setting up quotation in Sales Force and preparing bid packages.

**Position Summary**

Duties as assigned by Sales Manager, Key Account Manager or Sales Reps, the Sales Support assists the RMX Sales Team in all areas including but not limited to gathering and organizing project information, review basic construction documents, setting up concrete quotation in Sales Force, preparing bid packages and sending quotations to customers, the Sales Support must also work closely with Safety, Operations, Quality Control, Finance, and Customer Care and Logistics Centre (CCLC).

**Responsibilities**:

- Performs all work activities following all relevant safety policies and procedures.
- Assists to drive revenue through increased sales and solution selling to optimize opportunities to maintain and grow customer base.
- Assist to promote solution-based selling to maintain strong customer relationships and be proactive in understanding customer needs.
- Reviews and understands project specification and addendums including concrete specification, structural drawings, contract details, terms and conditions as assigned
- Learn from QC/QA on project specification and mix design submission (MDS)
- Efficiently and accurately produce quotations by use of computer software such as Sales Force Lightning (SFL) and submit to customer in timely manner before deadline
- Follows Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE) requirements and develops action plans to meet corporate and individual sales goals and objectives.
- Maintain database in SFL, create and run reports as required.
- Build strong relationship with customers
- Ensures customer information are recorded in Sales Force Lightning.
- Attends daily sales/logistics call with information from CommandConcrete
- Attends and proactively participates in monthly finance and sales meetings and other meetings.
- Presents sales progress report and discusses previous month performance to Sales Manager monthly.
- Demonstrates to new customers and trains new users on new software/app such as DirectA and ConcreteDirect. Provide feedback and troubleshoot with software developer.

- Safe work environment meeting or exceeding annual targets..
- Maintain up-to-date sales information in SFL
- Adherence to all internal control requirements.
- Identify and share recommendations for improvements.
- Meet and exceed department Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Timely and accurate customer account management following LafargeHolcim policy.

**Dimensions**
- Interfaces closely with other sales team members, operations, productions, quality control, customer care & logistics, credit and finance departments.
- Directly reports to Key Account Manager
- Daily supervise by Sales Reps

Qualifications:
**Education and Work Experience**
- 3rd or 4th year University, College or Technical Program equivalent
- Prefer industrial experience
- Prefer administrative experience
- Experience using Sales Force Lightning and Adobe Acrobat Standard preferred but not necessary

**Knowledge and Skills**
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Willingness to learn, not afraid to ask
- Self-motivated, able to quickly build and maintain positive working relationships
- Demonstrated strong problem solving skills; a self-starter
