Sales and Events Manager

**Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Plan, coordinate, and execute events from conception to completion, ensuring all aspects align with client expectations.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors, venues, and suppliers to secure the best rates and services.
- Develop and manage event budgets, tracking expenses to ensure financial objectives are met.
- Collaborate with hospitality staff to provide exceptional guest services during events.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences while providing updates throughout the planning process.
- Oversee event logistics including catering, transportation, audiovisual needs, and on-site management.
- Market events through various channels to maximize attendance and engagement.
- Conduct post-event evaluations to assess success and identify areas for improvement.
**Experience**
- Proven experience in event management or a related field within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of people.
- Experience in budgeting and financial management related to event planning.
- Familiarity with hotel or restaurant operations is advantageous.
- A background in guest services or sales will be considered a plus.
