As a Class 1 Inc. **Account Manager,** your focus will be Medical Gas equipment sales within Ontario. Your mission will be to deliver customer value as an integral partner for healthcare industry clients advocating for life sustaining solutions by overseeing projects through design, estimating, implementation. You will enhance customer value by optimizing and diversifying current customer offerings and cultivating new business by promoting Class 1 Inc. products, services, and solutions while achieving sales revenue for your responsible territory.

**Responsibilities**
- **Medical Gas Equipment Sales**
- Cultivate and maintain quality customers in your assigned territory (Eastern Canada)
- Generate new opportunities/sales using current and established customer, supplier, regulatory and construction associations
- Follow up on leads and referrals resulting from field activity
- Maintain regular contact with key accounts
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries
- Introduce/promote new products to customers by understanding their needs
- Prepare and present quotes, proposals, pricing and credit terms to customers
- Use internal tools to create quotations
- Provide product in-service training to end users - when required - this is
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards for KPIs for end-to-end sales process including lead activity, opportunity (funnel) management, order forecasting, quote disposition, and quota performance for assigned territory
- Review, analyze, and thoroughly understand all plans and specifications in order to verify project requirements and suitability and compliance with current applicable codes
- Support local medical gas design engineers with product specifications, sizing, and CSA standard requirements
- Coordinate with local Service Sales team members and Service Technicians to promote turn-key customer solutions, increase revenues, and enhance customer satisfaction
- Review and provide take-offs, material lists, and quotations as well as other proposal preparation for projects as assigned by manager
- **Marketing and New Product Promotion**
- Obtain, deliver, and present sales materials and promotional programs (lunch-n-learn, meetings, exhibits, etc.) to promote Class 1 Inc. product offerings
- Attend trade shows and participate in various industry functions and associations to generate sales and foster customer relationships as assigned by your manager
- Prepare and present quarterly business review presentations for the assigned territory
- Maintain a professional image at all times through personal actions, initiatives, and communications to enhance Class 1’s reputation and core values of Commitment, Interaction, and Innovation
- **Personal Professional Development**
- Continuously update job knowledge (for both products as well as sale and marketing strategies) by participating in educational opportunities, networking, participating in professional organizations, and staying abreast of industry news and publications
- **Reporting**
- Prepare reports as assigned relative to sales activity, lost orders, closings, follow-ups, and performance against budget
- Evaluate and report on competitive developments in product recommendations, service offerings, and pricing changes via feedback gathered through various sources
- **Other Duties as Required**

**Location & Travel**
- Our HQ is based in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada
- Regular travel to customers throughout assigned territory and occasional national and international travel for promotional activities and training

**Qualifications**
- Post-Secondary Degree in related field (Engineering, Business, etc.) or equivalent experience in Healthcare, Construction, or Industrial Equipment industry
- 3 years of relevant technical sales experience preferably in the Healthcare, Medical or Laboratory Gas Industry, or Construction Industry
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driver’s abstract may be required
- Vulnerable Sector Police Record Check may be required

**Requirements**:
As Account Manager, you have the opportunity to partner with and support various aspects of the Sales team including but not limited to ensuring adherence to all sales and booking policies, forecasting, reporting, territory management, and Daily Management of key metrics. Reporting to the Business Line Manager of Sales, you will meet key deliverables as you partner with the Service team to drive territory success.

**Knowledge**
- Estimation as it pertains to medical gas installation drawings
- Experienced in preparing formal commercial proposals
- Able to read and understand construction project specification
