About The Opportunity

Position Summary:

- Provide and coordinate assistance to the Quality Manager with the purpose of implementing, maintaining, and improving quality and continuous improvement processes including being a training resource for all departments throughout the facility.
- Essential Job Functions

- Key Duties and Responsibilities:

- Execute consistent implementation, auditing, and evaluation of Menasha Packaging operating processes & procedures in support of the corporate goals and ensure alignment with legal standards
- Develop and train the individual teams of the facility, take the lead and assist the overall facility
- Maintain and report Key Performance Indicators relevant to the Quality, NCR Trending, SIP Program and Continuous Improvement (CI) arena
- Analyze nonconformance report data and trends - share with facility management - develop and administer corrective action plans
- Execute root cause analysis - assist with close-loop corrective actions and follow up throughout the departments of the facility
- Identify business process improvements and report existing deficiencies to management
- Ensures and supports to make sure Food safety, Quality, HACCP and GMP is always followed
- Qualifications, Skills and Attributes:

- Associate’s degree required, Bachelor’s degree desired with a minimum of 2-4 years’ experience in the area of quality in a manufacturing environment.
- Auditing experience
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Provide the highest level of internal and external customer service
- Work independently and remain self-motivated with mínimal direct supervision
- Action and task oriented; collaborator and team player
- Strong organization skills, ability to identify potential problems
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
- Physical Requirements & Work Environment
- Primarily works in a production and/or warehouse setting with time also spent in an office setting
- Frequent walking and standing required
- Travel required
- Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.
