About The Opportunity

Position Summary:

  • Provide and coordinate assistance to the Quality Manager with the purpose of implementing, maintaining, and improving quality and continuous improvement processes including being a training resource for all departments throughout the facility.
  • Essential Job Functions

  • Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Execute consistent implementation, auditing, and evaluation of Menasha Packaging operating processes & procedures in support of the corporate goals and ensure alignment with legal standards
  • Develop and train the individual teams of the facility, take the lead and assist the overall facility
  • Maintain and report Key Performance Indicators relevant to the Quality, NCR Trending, SIP Program and Continuous Improvement (CI) arena
  • Analyze nonconformance report data and trends share with facility management develop and administer corrective action plans
  • Execute root cause analysis assist with closeloop corrective actions and follow up throughout the departments of the facility
  • Identify business process improvements and report existing deficiencies to management
  • Ensures and supports to make sure Food safety, Quality, HACCP and GMP is always followed
  • Qualifications, Skills and Attributes:
  • Associate's degree required, Bachelor's degree desired with a minimum of 24 years' experience in the area of quality in a manufacturing environment.
  • Auditing experience
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Provide the highest level of internal and external customer service
  • Work independently and remain selfmotivated with mínimal direct supervision
  • Action and task oriented; collaborator and team player
  • Strong organization skills, ability to identify potential problems
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Physical Requirements & Work Environment
  • Primarily works in a production and/or warehouse setting with time also spent in an office setting
  • Frequent walking and standing required
  • Travel required
  • Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.
