Manager of Bookkeeping Services

We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our dynamic team and support several large corporate clients. In this role, you will help us deliver an effortless customer experience while continually seeking ways to create value and opportunities for our clients.
A typical day includes managing multiple projects, meeting deadlines for financial reporting and tax filings, and providing clients with valuable professional advice.
This is a fast-paced position requiring excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
**Responsibilities**:
Client Service and Project Management
- Serve 15+ small business owners engaged in monthly/weekly bookkeeping and payroll contracts.
- Manage recurring projects to ensure service standards and project timelines are met.
- Conduct monthly quality assurance reviews of finished projects, upholding the highest quality standards for financial reporting.
- Offer professional advice and guidance on business improvements and profitable growth strategies.
Leadership and Team Development
- Provide training, leadership, and mentorship to a growing team of bookkeeping professionals, including ongoing feedback and periodic performance evaluations.
- Manage team performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) established by the firm, including the preparation and monitoring of regular reports.
- Collaborate with the firm’s leadership team to implement software, systems, and tools that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our bookkeeping department.
Bookkeeping Business Development
- Meet with potential clients to present our unique bookkeeping services, prepare service proposals, and secure new business to drive firm growth.
- Oversee the new client onboarding process from start to finish, ensuring seamless integration between our team and new clients, including software setup, detailed communications, and client training
Experience and Designation
- Certified Professional Bookkeeper (CPB)
- 5+ years of experience in full-cycle bookkeeping
- Proven track record of successfully managing multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment
Position Details
- Full-time salary: $65,000/year
- Hybrid position
- Two weeks of paid vacation plus one week of paid Christmas break
- Commitment to work/life balance
- Semi-annual bonuses
Pay: $65,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
