**Marketing and Communications Specialist**

Pinnacle Drilling Products (Pinnacle) is a strong, growth-orientated company with a solid reputation in the drilling product supply field; we provide outstanding service, product selection, and custom manufacturing. With locations in Calgary, Vancouver, Montreal, and the USA, we come equipped with decades of both field and sales experience in Canada and Internationally. Pinnacle offers complete service and products from simple product supply to custom development and manufacture, assisting with projects from conception, through in-house design to completion including follow-up support.

You will be involved in a variety of operations associated with marketing, including but not limited to the management of projects, events, social media, advertisements, conferences and tradeshows, and strategy development to name a few.

**Responsibilities**:

- Managing and deploying multi-channel marketing programs aligned with business objectives and international growth plans.
- End-to-end project management of marketing activities including planning, deployment, measurement, and analysis.
- Strategic positioning, thought leadership, content marketing, and relationship deployment in a B2B context.
- Developing and executing annual marketing plans including a budget, strategy and tactics.
- Collaborating with the sales team to write, design and deploy product catalogues.
- Managing and deploying co-promotional activities with suppliers and vendors.
- Manage advertising relationships including writing communication briefs for all promotional activities.
- Ownership of the website content, design, and updates.
- Ordering and managing promotional products, including third-party relationships with vendors.
- Analyzing brand campaign efforts for effective ROI activity.
- Managing and organizing marketing material (traditional and digital marketing) for trade shows and events.

**Qualifications**:

- University degree, diploma, or similar credentials in marketing, communications, business, or related discipline
- 5+ years of experience in a dedicated marketing, advertising, communications, or related role
- Self-directed individual with an eagerness to excel, has a strong work ethic and who is accustomed to a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work well with others, demonstrating collaboration and integrity
- Highly creative and innovative with a strong grasp of existing and emerging digital technologies
- Strong communication, storytelling, and project management skills
- Strong English language both written and spoken, French language is an asset
- Proven track record of implementing sales strategies backed up with analytics

Office working conditions include:

- Monday to Friday - Full time
- Office and shop environment, some high-stress situations (e.g. working to deadlines)
- May be required to work outside of normal work hours on occasion to meet the needs of the business
