**Position Summary**

Reporting to the Manager, Equitable Learning, the Office Coordinator, Equitable Learning is one of the first points of contact for students seeking support from a variety of service teams including Student Advising, AccessAbility, Tutoring, Testing, and Special Projects. The Office Coordinator, Equitable Learning performs a variety of administrative tasks including payroll submission, purchasing, maintaining paper and electronic files, coordination of communications materials for the team, and work with case management systems. In collaboration with the Office Coordinator, Student Health, the incumbent coordinates the flow of visitors and appointments in the Health & IMPACT Centre, along with coordinating appointments for staff outside of the Centre. The incumbent must be able to identify and respond to students who are potentially at-risk of harm to themselves or others and ensure effective intervention is provided by an appropriate regulated professional.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Provide front-line support to the department, including triaging, scheduling appointments with departmental staff, referring to other areas of the College
- Determine priority in scheduling appointments based on the level of student risk or need
- Process and compile sensitive and confidential information and correspondence in regard to students and their accessibility and medical information
- Coordinate Note Taking service for students approved for accommodation
- Maintain department and program files
- Source, assemble, organize and produce material and information for reports, meetings and presentations
- Provide administration of meetings for the Manager, Senior Director and departmental staff
- Generate, collate, summarize monitors and maintain accurate comprehensive and detailed financial and statistical records and data
- Investigate, source, gather, analyze and compile information and best practices on various programs, policies and practices for management review
- Provide secondary support for Student Health Services including a collaborative approach to reception, coverage, triage, assisting with the Electronic Medical Records system and supporting the clinical team with medical administrative matters as requested
- Verify and reconcile the accuracy of reports and documents (e.g. expense accounts, accounts receivable, budget reports, consumable purchases, department budget transfers, etc.)
- Prepare processes and track paperwork, approval and budget allocations for accessibility purchases pursuant to the Bursary for Students with Disabilities (BSWD)
- Process payroll information (hours, attendance, etc.) for all staff and submit to Payroll Services
- Prepare and facilitate hiring documents account setup for approval and processing for new staff in the department
- Develop and edit online and print material, including the creation and maintenance of the Equitable Learning webpages
- Coordinate participation in various internal and external recruitment and marketing activities (i.e. Open House and Orientation)

**Qualifications**
- Minimum completion of a two (2) year diploma in Health Services Office Administration - Health Services, Health Studies or a related field
- First Aid, CPR, AED, Mental Health First Aid, and ASIST training are considered an asset
