As the Lead Chef in our Home Office Campus, you will manage the daily operations of the Blue Truck Grill to ensure excellent customer service and the highest quality of cuisine is served to our Team Members and Customers. You will manage food and labour costs, ensuring that goals are met. You will also oversee special events and ensure they are planned, tracked and executed to the highest level. As a leader in the kitchen, you will create the schedule, provide training and coaching to the team and uphold a safe workplace standard while promoting a positive team environment.

This position is based in our beautiful Home Office, which is located at 475 Panet Road, in Winnipeg.

**To be successful in this role, you will need to**:

- Post-Secondary education in Culinary Arts
- Current Food Handler’s and Smart Choices certificates
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- 3+ years’ experience in a Chef position preferred in addition to experience as a Sous Chef or Line Cook
- 3+ years' experience in a back-of-house management position
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach/mentor
- Extensive knowledge of food handling and sanitation standards
- Understanding of purchase principles
- Excellent time management, multi-tasking, interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
