Order Entry Clerk

General Description
The Order Entry Agent position is a key contributor to our fast-paced day-to-day operations - providing exceptional customer service by working with the order management and Inside sales team. This position is a focal point for our order processing including order entry, new customer set up, and price checking. You will have the opportunity to work as part of a dynamic, fast-paced, high performing customer support team.
**Responsibilities**:
- Answer customer calls
- Assess and understand customer needs and expectations
- Process sales orders in the order entry platform
- Validate and approve orders
- Working in conjunction with inside sales
- Track requests in order to respond to customers as soon as possible
- Expediting of Open Orders
- Perform other related duties as required
Work experience requirements
- Must have 2-3 years of experience in customer service or significant sales - Experience with computer systems
- Bilingual (English and French) preferred
- Ability to identify and solve problems
- Ability to adapt to change
- Ability to work well in a team
- Important - Knowledge of Excel, Outlook, and Word software
- Must be highly organized, with a well-developed ability to multi-task.
- Possess ability to quickly learn and retain vendor-related information as well as company policies and procedures
- Ability to interact with others in a businesslike and professional manner
- Ability to work efficiently and calmly in a fast-paced dynamic work environment
