**Job Description: Operations Manager**

Niagara Inflatables & Games Inc. provides inflatable entertainment including: bouncers, slides, obstacles courses, jousting, interactives, as well as entertainers, dunk tanks, a trackless train, carnival games and carnival food such as cotton candy, sno-kones and popcorn, and so much more. Customers include festivals, corporate, schools, churches, non-profit, municipalities and private parties.

Our well-established and fast growing entertainment and inflatable bouncer rental business requires a full time Operations Manager to run the day-to-day operations of our organization.
The sole purpose of this position is to find ways to make the company more productive by providing effective methods in its business operations.

**Date of Employment**_**:_ Approximately April 3rd, 2023. Starting at $18/hr.

You are a person who enjoys the challenge of a dynamic and varied work environment, who is comfortable working independently and supervising a team. You have excelled with project management, organizational, supervision, scheduling and administrative skills. Your creative and innovative thinking allows you to implement a whatever-it-takes mentality to ensure 100% customer satisfaction. You have a strong leadership background and great communication skills.
You will lead our team of drivers, set up crew and operators to deliver our product to customers including setting policies and procedures for employees to follow. You will establish audits in the workplace to ensure effective implementation and adherence among each and every employee in the organization. You will make effective decisions that will not only help the company run smoothly but that also serve to prevent difficult situations in the future, including risk management, shipment delays, client dissatisfaction and employee problems.

- **Responsibilities**:_
- Play a significant role in long-term planning, including an initiative geared toward operational Improve the operational systems, processes and policies
- Meet regularly with Jake and Ryan to coordinate business operations and develop business strategies
- Set goals for an entire department or division based on the company's plans
- Develop new business opportunities
- Demonstrate a commitment to high professional ethical standards
- Work directly with clients
- Create a work environment that engenders positive energy, creativity and teamwork
- Demonstrate leadership and vision in managing staff groups and major projects or initiatives.
- Establish rules and procedures for employees to follow and develop audit processes
- Delegate responsibilities effectively
- Resolve problems concerning employees’ work performance
- Supervise warehouse staff including hiring, evaluation and training
- Create and communicate work schedules for employees
- Develop weekly delivery schedules to maximize routing efficiently
- Schedule loading of all vehicles and ensure it is done completely and correctly
- Maintain fleet of vehicles
- Ensure all Health and Safety requirements are being met
- Coordinate TSSA annual inspections and requirements
- Work with our customized software booking system - Inflatable Office
- Control inventory of Food supplies
- Maintain building and equipment

- Safety Conscious and knowledge of government safety requirements
- G2 Driver’s License
- First Aid and CPR
