Job Summary:
As a Customer Service Representative at Toemar, your main job is to talk to our customers, give them great advice, handle their orders, and help them figure out how much material they need for their landscaping designs. Your work is very important because you help make sure that our customers are happy and get the help they need for their outdoor projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Welcome and Assist Customers: When customers come in, greet them warmly and make them feel important. Show them around and help them find what they're looking for by listening carefully to their needs.
Product Information and Alternatives: Take your time to show customers different products that might suit their needs. Help them understand their options so they can make the best choice.
Process Sales Transactions: Be very careful when you're handling money and making sure the sales details are correct. This helps keep everything running smoothly and keeps customers happy.
Perform General Administrative Tasks: Keep track of orders and stock, and make sure everything is in order. Being organized helps everything go more smoothly.
Maintain a Clean and Organized Work Environment: Keep your work area neat and tidy. This makes it nicer for you and the customers.
Support Customers with Loading Materials: Help customers load their purchases into their cars. This is a nice way to make sure they leave happy.
Assistance with Measurements and Calculations: Help customers figure out how much material they need for their projects by doing some basic math with them.
Contribute to Team Efforts: Work well with your coworkers. Share what you know and help out when you can to make your team stronger.
Handle Stressful Situations: Stay calm and kind even when things get busy or a customer is upset. Solving problems without getting upset is a big part of making customers feel taken care of.
Skills and Qualifications:
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in typing (40-50 wpm) and basic mathematical calculations (e.g. area, volume, conversions such as inches to feet to meters).
Knowledge or willingness to learn about construction and landscaping materials.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to lift up to 20kg.
A positive attitude, punctuality, and a customer-oriented approach.
Minimum Requirements:
Secondary School diploma or equivalent (required)
At least 1 year of customer service experience (preferred)
Fluent in English (required)
Other languages (optional)
**Job Types**: Temporary, Part-time
Contract length: 5 months
**Salary**: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 - 45 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
