Support Worker

**This is an independent contractors position. Due to the nature of this position, you must have a drivers license and a vehicle**

**Duties**:

- Provide direct support to individuals, who are a part of the KC program, living in their own apartment.
- Assist with daily living activities such as grocery shopping, setting up on line bill payments, eviction prevention, keeping their place clean, preventing loneliness
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors.
- Support individuals in accessing community resources and participating in social activities.
- Assist with transportation, including driving individuals to appointments or community outings.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the home environment.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in social work or a related field is preferred.
- _ **Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle for transportation.**_
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with time management.
- Ability to follow established systems and protocols for providing support services.
- Flexibility to be available when the youth needs a support.

**Salary**: From $15.00 per hour
