**Position Title: Accounts Payable and Receiving Clerk**

**Location: Edmonton, A.B. T6B 3N9**

**Job Type**:Full Time Permanent

**Position Summary**:
The Accounts Payable and Receiving Clerk will be responsible for efficiently managing accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, expense tracking, and vendor communication, while also assisting with inventory management and production reporting. This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Accounts Payable:

- Review, code, and post invoices for product and operational expenses.
- Verify freight rates and billing from third-party carriers.
- Code invoices to correct GL accounts.
- Post invoices into the accounting system.
- Accrue for upcoming expenses.
- Track non-product inventory.
- Respond to AP queries from vendors and other stakeholders.
- Create employee expense files to upload into the accounting system.
- Manage petty cash reimbursements.
- Prepare and submit monthly fiscal reports.

Other duties:

- Participate in regular inventory counts.
- Process daily production reports.
- Additional duties as assigned.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Demonstrated customer service experience with a strong ability to exercise good judgment in handling customer-related matters.
- Effective communication skills with clients, customers, colleagues, and staff.
- Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Exceptional attention to detail, characterized by a high level of accuracy and speed in data entry.
- Familiarity with Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payable would be considered an asset.
