The Aboriginal Coalition to End Homelessness Society (ACEHS) is seeking a Fundraising Organizer to support the admin team with various tasks. Through their contributions the Fundraising Assistant will help to ensure the organization is taking advantage of all opportunities and securing the financial resources to achieve its mission.

**Job Details**:
**Position Type**: Full-time / co-op, 35-40 hours per week.

**Term**:8 weeks. Starting ASAP

**Salary / Wage**:$16.75 per hour

**Deliverables**:

- Identify grant opportunities aligned with ACEH’s Operation Plan.
- Prepare and submit proposals to support housing development, research, and decolonized harm reduction programming.
- Develop an Action Plan to increase our donations through various channels (i.e., community networking and social media platforms).
- Support with funder communications, reporting, and updates as required.
- Collaborate with ACEHS Departments to implement funder stewardship activities.

**Required Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities**:

- Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Ability to multitask and push multiple projects to completion simultaneously
- Understanding of the intergenerational trauma that occurs because of colonization, Residential Schools, Sixties Scoop, and other oppressive systems as well as the history of Indigenous peoples in Canada.
- Ability to work in a holistic, professional, and non-judgmental manner as you are working with a broad range of personalities, needs, cultures, lived experiences and abilities.
