**Manager, Restructuring and Recovery**

When financial issues or liquidity concerns threaten the course of business, decisive action is required to address challenges and avoid crisis situations. Assisting companies at crucial points in their lifecycles, the dedicated team at TDB Advisory Limited provides unbiased perspectives and develops strategies to stabilize operations and optimize benefits to stakeholders.

Our professionals specialize in restructuring, recovery and insolvency services. Working with lenders, creditors, debtors and other stakeholders, we identify and evaluate available options, offer creative solutions and help lenders maximize recoveries where appropriate. We are currently looking for a manager to join our team.

**Your primary responsibilities will include**:

- Working in a collaborative team and assisting with various tasks including taking possession of debtor premises, asset realization activities, preparing and reviewing written correspondence, spreadsheet/reports, financial models (including sensitivity analysis and “what if” scenarios) as well as inventorying assets
- Communicating with creditors, reviewing and analyzing information provided by lenders, proofs of claim, etc. as well as liaising with various stakeholders, including clients, lawyers, lenders and other financial professionals as required
- Contributing to and developing presentation and proposal materials for the team
- Interacting with business owners to develop options for their financial challenges
- Analyzing financial data and reviewing accounting records to assess the financial viability of a company
- Attending marketing activities and developing a set of marketing contacts with a view to developing new business and assisting the team market its services
- Completing administrative tasks as required
- Being committed to ongoing learning in the area of restructuring
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- CPA designation preferred
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a corporate restructuring and recovery practice
- Chartered Insolvency and Restructuring Professional (CIRP), Licensed Insolvency Trustee (LIT), or near completion of the program
- Experience within a professional services firm
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong research, analytical and report writing skills
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills, with a focus on financial modelling
- Familiarity with other Microsoft Office programs
- Strong client relationship skills and focus
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
- Ability to travel in and outside the GTA (must have driver’s license and immediate access to a vehicle on short notice)
