Who we need:
Reporting to the Vice President, Student Experience, the Director, Career Services is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive career development programs and services to empower students in their career exploration, professional growth, and job placement. As a People Leader, ensures a working environment where all team members can be their best selves, grow and thrive, to support our mission of championing student success.

What you will do:

- Develop and execute a strategic vision for the Student Career Services department that aligns with the institution's mission and goals.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to a team of career services professionals.
- Design, implement, and manage a range of career development programs, workshops, and resources to help students explore career paths, develop essential job search skills, and make informed career decisions.
- Collaborate with academic departments to integrate career development into the curriculum and academic advising.
- Plan and coordinate Provision of individualized career counseling and coaching to students, assisting them in setting career goals, refining job search strategies, and preparing for interviews.
- Plan and coordinate delivery of guidance on resume and cover letter writing, networking, professional branding, and other career-related skills.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with employers, industry partners, alumni, and community organizations to create internship, co-op, and job placement opportunities for students.
- Organize career fairs, networking events, and employer information sessions to connect students with potential employers.
- Collect and analyze data on student outcomes, career trends, and employer engagement to inform program development and assess the effectiveness of career services initiatives.
- Prepare reports and presentations for institutional stakeholders on the success of the career services programs.
- Stay up-to-date with career-related technologies and platforms to enhance the delivery of services, such as online job boards, career assessment tools, and virtual career events.
- Manage and maintain an extensive library of career resources, including job market research, industry guides, and salary negotiation tips.
- Collaborate with faculty, academic advisors, and other campus partners to integrate career development into the academic experience and ensure a holistic student support system.
- Plan and coordinate development and delivery of workshops and presentations to classes, student organizations, and campus groups to promote career readiness.
- Manage the budget for the Student Career Services department, allocating resources for events, programs, and services that support student career development.
- Contribute to a positive corporate culture that supports our core values.

What you bring:
Skills, Experience & Competencies
- Master's degree in Higher Education, Counseling, Career Development, or a related field.
- Several years of progressive experience in career services, student affairs, or a related field, with a proven track record of leadership and program management.
- Strong knowledge of career development theories, job market trends, and employment strategies.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders, including students, employers, faculty, and alumni.
