The West Vancouver Permits & Inspections Department has an opening for a Permanent Full-Time Permits Clerk Supervisor to join our highly qualified team. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Permits, Inspections and Land Development, the Permits Clerk Supervisor will be responsible for:

- Supervising and reviewing the work of clerical staff engaged in permit processing, overseeing the distribution of plans and documentation submitted in support of a permit, as well as performing permit clerk duties as required;
- Maintaining fees and charges in the system for all permit services;
- Assisting in the preparation of budget estimates, monitoring expenditures, preparing invoices and compiling statistical reports for government agencies and the District;
- Interprets and provides information on the Zoning and Building By-law;
- Supervising department clerical functions including the storing and reviewing of records and file systems and responding to freedom of information requests;
- Preparing correspondences of a technical nature;
- Performing other related duties as required

Position Status:
WVMEA (Union) - Permanent, Full-time

Hours of Work:
35 hours per week (hours and days of work may vary)

Rate of Pay:
$34.29 (This position has a pay structure with five steps which increase annually).
