**Program Coordinator - Caregiver Support & Community Outreach**

**The Role**

Reporting to the Client Services Manager-Community Programs, you will support the delivery of CHATS Caregiver Support & Education and CHATS Community Outreach services to achieve integrated delivery of client services, exceptional customer service, and continuous quality improvement and risk management.

**_Part-time position, 21 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8:30 A.M. - 4:30 P.M with occasional work outside of business hours. _**

**Key responsibilities of the position**:

- Raise awareness and build positive relationships with community groups, potential clients, and referral sources.
- Provide community-based events/activities that align with Agency priorities and Caregiver Support & Education program needs.

**What you bring to the role**:

- Minimum specialized training equivalent to college diploma or professional designation
- Minimum 3 years’ experience providing seniors and/or caregiver support services in the community, including program development.
- Demonstrated presentation & facilitation skills.
- Proven coordination & networking skills.
- Experience working within a multi-disciplinary team environment.
- Experience working with volunteers.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Current certification in CPR and First Aid
- Ability to accommodate a flexible work schedule including some evenings and weekends.
- Valid Ontario driver’s license and access to a vehicle are required.
- Knowledge of and sensitivity to diverse cultures an asset
- Fluency in both official languages (English or French) or other languages, an asset.
