The John Howard Society of Grande Prairie (JHSGP) is a community based non-profit organization concerned with the causes and consequences of crime. Grande Prairie Drug Treatment Court Services offers community-based treatment support services to participants in Grande Prairie Drug Treatment Court. Working together with a multidisciplinary team, Drug Treatment Court Services involves a process of intensive judicial supervision of treatment, rehabilitation, community restoration and community reintegration for individuals who have become involved in the criminal justice system as a result of their drug use. The program works in partnership with multiple government ministries and community agencies and organizations to ensure accountability of and supports and resources for participants.

This is a full time salaried position, providing cover off for a parental leave. Business hours are Monday through Friday 8:30 - 4:30. This position provides and requires regular flexibility, to work outside of regular business hours. This involves sharing on call responsibilities (responding to emergent client needs) you will be required to conduct random drug screens and complete curfew checks.

**Responsibilities**:
Under the leadership and supervision of the Assistant Executive Director, the Manager will be responsible for:

- Providing leadership to the case management team
- Maintaining a case load and contributing to case management as needed and directed.
- Supporting JHSGP in the accreditation process
- Maintaining active liaison with government, community organizations and agencies, representatives, and stakeholders, in collaboration with and as directed by the Assistant Executive Director.
- Contributing to program evaluation and ensuring data collection and reporting
- Ensuring that weekly court updates are prepared and provided
- Making collaborative decisions with the treatment team and the multidisciplinary court team
- Upholding provincial and national Drug Treatment Court standards and principles
- Ensuring adherence to program and agency policies, policies, procedures and accountability frameworks

**Qualifications/Skills**
- Related post-secondary education in a justice/addictions/social assistance/health field.
- Four-year degree or diploma and two years work experience or, certificate and three years work experience.
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders in the areas of justice/addictions/social assistance.
- Minimum 2 years of experience, in the past 5 years, leading people & creating processes.
- Experience with case management.
- Understanding of addiction and its role in criminal behavior.
- Knowledge of the correctional services system.
- Knowledge of addictions and mental health.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and time management skills.
- Align with the JHSGP philosophy and core values.
- Criminal record check (enhanced reliability), including vulnerable sector check.
- Standard First Aid and CPR.
