Sales Support Representative

We have a fantastic opportunity to join us as a **Sales Support Representative**. The role is responsible for supporting the Regional Sales Manager in following up on leads, prospect for new customers, and set confirmed appointments with customers. They will also support order management and account management processes such as setting up new accounts for billing, preparing quotes and quoting support in delivering solutions, helping coordinate shipments, and post-shipment support.

**What will you be doing as our Sales Support Representative?**
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and prospects in regards to sales
- Provide expert product guidance to customers and assist with finding products that meet their needs and technical specifications
- Identify, generate, and manage profitable sales opportunities with new and existing customers
- Use financial and commercial acumen to develop sales and close deals
- Proactively research and analyze data to provide market and customer insights
- Report on sales key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Develop new business through proactive and creative sales activities and identifying future market opportunities
- Carry out team administration tasks, including following up on sales leads and quotations

**Customer Focus**:

- Enter all sales activities into the customer relationship management (CRM) system (NetSuite)
- Follow up on quotes in a timely and appropriate manner to keep the RSM focused on selling
- Provide shipment details and respond to post-order customer questions
- Stay up to date with company policies, procedures, and products
- Develop long-term customer relationships and understand and meet customer needs
- Provide quotations to customers as appropriate
- Support and manage orders from initial stages through to delivery
- Arrange shipping/transportation for orders using efficient and compliant methods

**Administrative**:

- Arrange sales meetings between clients and the Regional Sales Manager (RSM)
- Support pipeline and forecasting with the RSM
- Assist with follow-up tasks, activity notes, and new client communications to keep the RSM on the road
- Facilitate communication between the sales and operations teams
- Share technical knowledge to train colleagues and new starters
- Utilize NetSuite to track opportunities, coordinate quotes with other subsidiary offices, and departments

**Customer Service**:

- Maintain and improve levels of customer service
- Provide fair and high-quality service to all customers
- Support key accounts to ensure a high-quality service is provided and all opportunities are maximized
- Provide day-to-day contact to ensure orders are managed, products and services are delivered, and quality is ensured

- Fully bilingual; able to speak and write in both English and French.
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Sales experience
- Detail oriented and able to multitask
- Technical proficiency with CRM and marketing automation software
- Strong organizational skills
- Professional attitude and strong work ethic
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new products and services
- Proven ability to work well in a team.
