The role is responsible for supporting the Regional Sales Manager the sales process including following up on leads and arranging confirmed appointments with customers. They will also assist in order management and account management processes such as setting up new accounts, preparing quotes and coordinating shipments for delivery to customers.

What will you be doing as our Sales Support Representative?

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and prospects in regards to sales.
  • Provide expert product guidance and updates to customers.
  • Support and manage orders from initial stages through to delivery.
  • Develop long-term customer relationships, ensuring high levels of customer service.
  • Identify, generate, and manage sales opportunities with new and existing customers.
  • Develop new business through proactive and creative sales activities and identifying future market opportunities.
  • Support our Regional Sales Managers (RSMs) with market research identify new customers and product applications.
  • Carry out team administration tasks, including following up on sales leads and quotations.
  • Arrange sales meetings between clients and the Regional Sales Manager (RSM).
  • Support pipeline and forecasting with the RSM.
  • Assist with follow-up tasks, activity notes, and new client communications to keep the RSM on the road.
  • Share technical knowledge to train colleagues and new starters.
  • Utilize our CRM system (NetSuite) to track opportunities, coordinate quotes with other subsidiary offices, and departments.

What we are looking for in our Sales Support Representative:

  • Fully bilingual; able to speak and write in both English and French.
  • Confident communicator (both verbal and written).
  • Passion for giving excellent customer service.
  • Previous sales experience.
  • Detail oriented and able to multitask.
  • Technical proficiency with CRM and marketing automation software.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize.
  • Professional attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new products and services.
