At T. Marzetti Company, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a critical role in shaping the company's talent management strategy and supporting business growth.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing coaching, leadership, and delivery of services to build capability, maximize associate engagement, and ensure talent acquisition. You will work closely with an agile HR team to serve key internal plant customers, supporting their talent needs to drive business success.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain positive associate, corporate, and community relations.
- Maximize associate engagement and minimize litigious activity by coaching and advising leaders and associates on policy interpretation and coaching for improved performance.
- Participate in associate activities and engagement initiatives.
- Develop and implement successful action plans to address identified issues.
- Collaborate with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
- Identify and implement efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, and/or a closely related field with a minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in Human Resources.
- Prior labor relations experience strongly preferred.
- Experience in building and sustaining a positive culture.
