About the role

We are looking for Human Resources Consultants to join our Intact HR teams

With your experience in employee relations, HR expertise and collaborative style, you will play a key role in leveraging our service offer and supporting Intact’s strategic priorities.

What you’ll do here:

  1. Provide professional HR coaching and advice to selected business groups, considering best practices and trends, and ensuring that HR management decisions and practices meet legislation as well as company values.
  2. Work in collaboration with peers to provide support and professional guidance related to human resources management.
  3. Participate in relevant management meetings of the assigned group(s), be aware of human resources management issues and ensure the decisions and practices align with our business strategies and values and are legally and ethically sound.
  4. Assist with investigations, assist managers in conflict management and other issues.
  5. Participate in local or national projects and deployment of corporate initiatives and programs.
  6. Search, analyze data and recommend potential solutions to a variety of tactical and operational issues in human resources management.
  7. Facilitate focus group, training workshops and information sessions for employees and/or managers.
  8. Conduct exit interviews.
  9. Collaborate and work with managers on the HR cycle.
  10. Make salary recommendations based on compensation best practices.
  11. Support Senior Consultants and Senior Human Resources Business Partners in all types of mandates and contribute to the HR process improvement.

What you bring to the table:

  1. Bachelor degree with a Human Resources specialization or a combination of education and work experience.
  2. 3 years of related experience in Human Resources with at least 2 years of experience in employee relations.
  3. Proven ability to quickly establish and cultivate effective working relationships with business partners at all levels of the organization and influence their decision as necessary.
  4. A flexible, agile, and resilient approach to working in a dynamic ever-changing work environment.
  5. Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to influence and relational ease with all hierarchical levels.
  6. Ability to think critically and strategically to solve operational and/or complex problems.
  7. Ability to evolve in a multi-site, matrix organization and in a constantly evolving environment.
  8. Strong communication, influencing, analytical, synthesis and interpersonal skills.
  9. Technical, up-to-date expertise in Human Resources and employment legislation.
  10. Knowledge in many areas of human resources including talent management, performance management and employee relations, disability management, engagement, compensation.
  11. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite.
  12. CHRP designation completed or in progress is an asset.
  13. Bilingualism in French and English is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with colleagues across the country.
