Reporting to the Vice President, People and Facilities, the People Partner will be the organization’s primary operational (day-to-day) support for managers and team members, while proactively anticipating the business needs by taking the initiative to build and implement innovative programs that are scalable.

**What You'll Do**:

- Act as a first point of contact for team members and managers, responding to employment related queries, drafting employment-related letters, and problem solving, as blockers arise, to ensure a high level of service is provided at all times.
- Collaborate with the rest of the People Team and constantly evaluate and listen to the organization with respect to level of value and support the Team is providing to the business through deployment of new and existing people programs and tools, such as learning and development, fueling performance, coaching, team building, total compensation, hr systems, and talent acquisition.
- Actively support the implementation and execution around all engagement programs and activities including eNPS and engagement survey results, participation, engagement, trending, communication, measurable action plan(s), and follow through.
- Coach and support managers on performance management, employee relations, and involuntary terminations.
- Accurately input, process, verify, and maintain personnel data related to the employee life-cycle.
- Perform data audits to maintain a high level of system integrity across all people programs and systems.
- Liaise with all members of the BizOps Team (Finance, Payroll, IT, Facilities) to continuously refine and improve our approach to shared services, creating a seamless and scalable back office, with an unwavering commitment to service excellence.
- Plan and support the effective onboarding and offboarding of Team Members at AltaML Proper and its Joint Ventures.
- Partner with the Director, Talent and managers on people priorities such as retention based activities, high performance culture road map initiatives, semi-annual compensation review cycle(s), etc.
- Build, refine and facilitate regular training workshops including onboarding segments, benefits 101, Respect in the Workplace Series, Leadership Bootcamp Series, and, as requested as the company grows and evolves.
- Support integration and secondment activities related to ventures and spin offs.
- Coordinate and support facilities activities and related inventory, within budget.

**What You Bring**:

- Degree in Human Resources Management or related
- Foundational experience working as either an HR Administrator or Coordinator in the past
- Progressive experience, preferably in a startup or high growth environment
- Experience administering and leveraging an HRMS (we use BambooHR)Thrives in an entrepreneurial environment where we all wear many hats and you take ownership to drive action
- Builder and executor of solutions versus problems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines
- Fantastic organizational and priority management skills
- Strong decision-making and problem solving skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
