We are seeking a Portfolio Planning Analyst to join our Asset Management Division. You will be responsible for providing financial
expertise to advise on the evaluation and structuring of investments for optimization into a portfolio of investments that balances,
cost, performance and risk and is in alignment with Corporate Values and Objectives.

**_ Responsibilities:_**
- Develop, analyze, and optimize planning scenarios (with different mixes of cost, performance and risk) and provide

recommendations to the Portfolio Planner, for inclusion in the optimized portfolio.
- Analyze portfolio spend, review new investments, and make recommendation for the onboarding of new work between

planning cycles.
- Provide coordination and guidance on capital approval documentation and ensure adherence to corporate approval policies
- and guidance to internal stakeholders.- Ensure investment data integrity in Copperleaf, including validation of investment structure and alignment with Corporation's
- financial reporting systems.- Assist in the preparation of the annual Capital Project Review Summary describing the contents and changes to the annual
- capital expenditure portfolio.- Prepare and provide recommendations for planning item forecasting for the annual capital expenditure plan.
- Framework and establish Asset Investment Planning as the Centre of Expertise for evaluating investments.- Lead efforts to determine Copperleaf best-practices and provide support to personnel throughout Manitoba Hydro on

Copperleaf usage including writing and presenting of guidelines and participating on the Copperleaf user group to gain and
share knowledge.
- Participate in the development of the Section's, Department's and Division's business plan and lead business plan initiatives.

**_ Qualifications:_**
- Professional Designation (CPA or CFA) with a minimum of five years' experience, including two years' experience specifically

related to portfolio planning and optimization, and investment evaluation.
OR
- Graduate with a Business or related degree from a University of recognized standing with a minimum of six years' experience,

including two years' experience specifically related to portfolio planning and optimization, and investment evaluation.
- Strong interpersonal,relationship building and communication skills
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, on technical and financial matters.
- Ability to work effectively with a broad range of internal stakeholders and maintain effective working relationships.
- Good working knowledge of investment planning and project delivery processes for Manitoba Hydro's Energy Assets.
- Advanced working knowledge of functionality of Copperleaf C55 For investment planning, Corporate Value Framework

**_ Salary Range_**

Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The range for the classification is $44.05 -$60.82 Hourly,
$84,411.86-$116,541.10 Annually.
