**Job Description**:
Reporting to the Assistant Manager, Corporate Financial Reporting, the Accounting Services Analyst will be a key member of the global financial reporting team, with a focus on segregated funds financial reporting. **What you will do**
- Prepare semi-annual and annual financial statements for our Canadian segregated funds
- Perform quarterly financial close processes
- Process daily and monthly journal vouchers
- Prepare quarterly and annual reports for regulators
- Update reports for new funds, fund re-mixes, fund manager changes and fund category updates
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts
- Assist with the analysis of accounting policies to ensure segregated fund financial statements comply with IFRS and CLHIA standards
- Assist the general account financial close and reporting team as needed, including quarterly financial reports for internal management and the Board of Directors.
- Assist with ad-hoc requests related to segregated funds

**What you will bring**
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in Business/Finance, or completion of accounting courses would be considered an asset
- 3-5 years of experience in a staff accountant, financial analyst, or reporting role; those with experience in an SAP environment are preferred
- Strong attention to detail in assessing financial information
- Excellent organizational & time management skills, with ability to assess and prioritize multiple responsibilities and work with limited supervision
- Knowledge and efficient use of MS Office suite, with advanced Excel skills
- Demonstrated ability to effectively articulate issues in a timely and professional manner
- Ability to adapt and learn new processes and tasks
- Experience with financial solutions; experience with Workiva would be considered an asset
