Greenhouse Labourer

Vaandrager Nurseries is a growing business that specializes in growing bedding plants and hanging baskets for our own retail store as well as for independent garden centers throughout BC. We are looking for full time seasonal and year round staff who love plants and can help us on our production team.
**Responsibilities**:
- All aspects of plant growth including but not limited to: sticking cuttings, planting, tagging, moving, spacing, pruning and shipping of plants.
- Other responsibilities may include, field planting, weeding and picking cut flowers, general clean up as well as seasonal clean ups.
**Skills**:
- Knowledge of basic gardening techniques and practices
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical labor
- Basic math skills
- Experience in a previous greenhouse setting an asset
- Be willing to work rain or shine
- Have a positive attitude

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Seasonal
**Salary**: $16.75-$19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 - 50 per week
