**Job purpose**:
Work closely with marketing team members to support internal projects related to product content management. You will be responsible for acquiring, writing, entering, and editing product attributes while maintaining a strong focus on accuracy, in-house standards, and SEO strategies to ensure we remain ahead of the competition. This position involves extensive data entry and manipulation. You can expect to work in a well-managed team environment, have the enthusiasm and ambition to complete projects to the highest standard, and want to be part of a company that practices a “work hard, play hard” mentality. We are looking for an individual who is a team player, self-driven, and determined to set and accomplish personal and department goals

**Responsibilities**:

- Research and gather data from suppliers, and enter product content in Microsoft Excel and other in-house programs
- Ensure that unique/new content is accurate and maximizes SEO on our websites
- Ensure product descriptions and specifications are accurate and complete and comply with in-house standards
- Use basic coding (HTML) for product content on our websites using in-house software - experience is an asset; training provided
- Basic editing of product images and PDFs using Adobe Photoshop and Acrobat that come from suppliers to comply with in-house standards - experience is an asset; training provided
- Edit product content for quality assurance to comply with in-house standards
- Perform regular updates and audits on our websites to ensure product information is up-to-date
- Enhance existing content by adding more text or media-rich content to improve its ranking with search engines
- Create unique content for various projects, such as product and brand descriptions, eblasts, video descriptions, and other social media-related content
- Take charge of your workload, set goals, and regularly communicate and collaborate with the team and Marketing manager to stay on top of and complete projects
- Ensure you have a complete understanding of company processes by actively participating and communicating, and determine best practices, standards, and procedures for maintaining attribute data

**Experience/Qualifications**:
Post-secondary diploma, or relevant education or experience in writing or Marketing
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Strong copywriting and copy-editing skills in English
Strong time management skills and ability to multi-task and easily and rapidly shift priorities
Ability to interact and communicate effectively in English

**Assets**:
Experience with data entry and manipulation
Experience with Microsoft Excel
Basic Adobe Photoshop and Acrobat editing experience
Knowledge/experience of basic HTML coding
Knowledge/experience of SEO strategies and implementation
Ability to work independently and within a team
Strong copywriting and copy-editing skills in French
Familiarity with social media copywriting.
