About the role

We're looking for a talented and dynamic Senior Full stack Java/Angular Software Developer for our growing team

What you'll do here:

  1. Provide proactive and reactive support for production systems to guarantee their functionality.
  2. Resolve incidents, problem tickets and defects by finding creative solutions, solving complex problems, coding, testing, and debugging a wide variety of systems.
  3. Be creative and come up with ideas to improve our services and user experiences.
  4. Provide support for a variety of projects and enhancements.
  5. Take responsibility for team tasks and deliverables.
  6. Ensure open incident records are updated on a regular basis and that information is accurate and up to date.
  7. Create and update maintenance procedures and documents.
  8. Provide deployment support for production systems to guarantee their functionality.
  9. Ensure systems are optimal and meet quality standards by analyzing, providing creative suggestions to improve services and user experiences.
  10. Make recommendations and participate in improving development and system maintenance processes.

What you bring to the table:

  1. Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science or another related discipline (mathematics, actuarial science, data), or any combination of equivalent education and experience.
  2. 3 to 5 years of experience in development.

Skills required:

  1. Knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript and Typescript is essential.
  2. Excellent coding skills in Java, Spring, Spring Boot.
  3. Excellent knowledge of the Angular framework.
  4. Knowledge of GIT.
  5. Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Openshift, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
  6. Agile/Scrum/Safe and DevOps mindset.
  7. Bilingual (French and English): Need to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
  8. No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.

  2. Web: Angular – Java – Spring – Spring Boot.
  3. Tools: GitHub – JIRA – Confluence – Teams – IntelliJ – Postman – Maven.
  4. CI/CD: Jenkins – Veracode – SonarQube – Prisma Cloud – Argo CD.
  5. Hosting: Docker – Kubernetes – OCP.
