Vancouver, Canada Providence Health Care Full time

We are searching for a passionate and driven **Project Manager** for the **Technical Design & Construction team**. In this role you will assist the Senior Manager, Design & Project Delivery, with the coordination and oversight of Building Technology, Mechanical and Commissioning deliverables. You'll regularly meet with various Operational Support stakeholders such as Facilities Maintenance & Operations (FMO) and direct Compliance Consultant work.**

**Skills**
- Knowledge of capital project planning and implementation processes including design, construction and procurement within current standards, codes, bylaws and regulations.
- Comprehensive knowledge of project management principles and methodologies and ability to coach team members on these skills.
- Broad knowledge of patient care delivery systems in primary, acute and community settings.
- Demonstrated track record of delivering high value projects ( >$1M) on time and on budget
- Ability to interpret construction drawings and construction specifications.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage planning, design and construction projects simultaneously.
- Understanding of available resources for projects and applicable stakeholder groups including feedback and detailed analysis on project processes.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to lead and inspire staff, and build a team environment that fosters trust and respect.
- Ability to supervise team members and provide direction to other staff, and consultants and contractors.
- Demonstrated ability to identify, plan, organize, prioritize and implement projects in a timely manner in a dynamic project environment with changing priorities.
- Possesses business acumen and analytical skills to anticipate financial and business requirements and ensure effective use of resources.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, customer relations, communication and facilitation skills to develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.

**Education and Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Business, Engineering or Trades Qualification supplemented by formal training such as a Building Construction Technology Certificate, or relevant discipline
- seven (7) to ten (10) years’ recent, related progressively responsible experience within a healthcare environment from frontline operations and maintenance to specification development and implementation of large capital projects.
- Experience in project management, supervision, and facilitating and managing consultation processes with stakeholder groups is also required.
- Project Management Professional Designation would be considered an asset.

As per the current Public Health Orders (Long Term Care/Seniors Assisted Living Provincial Health Order and the Health Sector Order), as of October 26, 2021, all employees working for Providence Health Care must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Proof of vaccination status will be required.
