**Résumé des fonctions**

***L’agent ou l’agente Formation technique, Ingénierie - Signalisation et communications (S et C) est responsable de la formation des membres du personnel du groupe S et C pendant toute la durée des programmes de formation des apprentis S et C et des techniciens Communications, ainsi que de la prestation de séances de perfectionnement et d’actualisation de la formation aux membres du personnel déjà en poste. Cette personne doit offrir de la formation, du mentorat et du coaching aux membres du personnel et assurer leur qualification en ce qui concerne diverses techniques de S et C. Le ou la titulaire du poste doit aussi exécuter d’autres tâches, notamment entretenir le matériel du centre de formation et tenir à jour les aide-mémoire et les dossiers d’entretien périodique. Les compétences nécessaires sont acquises par de la formation en classe, des exercices pratiques et de la formation sur le terrain. Le rôle consistera principalement à assurer la formation des techniciens Communications et à participer à la prestation du programme de formation des apprentis en signalisation.

**Principales responsabilités**

Prestation de formation
- Agir à titre d’expert ou d’experte pour la création et la mise à jour du matériel de formation
- Fournir la formation aux membres du personnel au moyen de cours en classe, de démonstrations pratiques et d’exercices
- Bien comprendre la façon de mettre en pratique les compétences relatives au matériel de S et C
- Évaluer l’aptitude des stagiaires à démontrer leurs compétences relatives aux tâches
- Administrer et noter les examens
- Remplir les documents relatifs à la performance et à la qualification, et veiller à ce que toutes les activités de formation soient saisies dans le Système de gestion de l’apprentissage (LMS)
- Fournir d’autres formations relatives à l’ingénierie selon les besoins

Entretien et mise à jour du matériel du centre de formation
- Évaluer l’état de fonctionnement du matériel de laboratoire avant la formation
- Réparer le matériel de laboratoire défectueux

Mise au point d’un plan de formation complet
- Collaborer avec des directeurs et des cadres supérieurs pour établir et préciser les besoins de formation fonctionnels
- Élaborer un plan d’exécution de la formation
- Établir le calendrier de prestation de la formation de façon à répondre aux besoins de formation

Conditions de travail

Ce poste prévoit des conditions de travail standard dans un bureau et un horaire de travail normal du lundi au vendredi, avec des possibilités occasionnelles de formation la fin de semaine ou pendant d’autres quarts de travail. Le travail consiste, la plupart du temps, à donner de la formation au centre de formation du Campus CN à Winnipeg, au Manitoba. Ce poste exige un minimum de déplacements (20 %) à des fins de formation sur le terrain et de vérification de la qualité.

Expérience
- Signalisation et communications
- De 5 à 10 ans d’expérience en S et C
- Expérience en tant que superviseur ou superviseure de la signalisation ou des communications
- Toute expérience dans l’un des domaines ci-dessus constitue un atout._

Formation, certification et désignation
- Diplôme d’études secondaires ou l’équivalent
- Qualification à titre de préposé ou préposée à l’entretien S et C, ou de technicien ou technicienne S et C
- Permis de conduire en règle
- Évaluer l’état de fonctionnement du matériel de laboratoire avant la formation
- Réparer le matériel de laboratoire défectueux
- Formation complémentaire en électronique, en génie électrique ou dans d’autres domaines connexes, comme la physique ou les mathématiques*
