Résumé des fonctions

L'agent ou l'agente Formation technique, Ingénierie - Voie est responsable de la formation offerte au personnel de l'Ingénierie dans le cadre des programmes d'embauche (lignes directrices concernant l'inspection de la voie, passage des circulations sur les rails rompus, longs rails soudés), des programmes de stages des superviseurs adjoints Voie et de formation sur les règles de l'Ingénierie (introduction et requalification). Le ou la titulaire du poste doit offrir de la formation, du mentorat et du coaching aux membres du personnel et assurer leur qualification en ce qui concerne diverses techniques de construction, d'entretien et d'inspection de la voie. Cette personne entretient le matériel du centre de formation et tient à jour les aide-mémoire et les dossiers d'entretien périodique.

Principales responsabilitésPrestation de formation

· Agir à titre d'expert ou d'experte pour la création et la mise à jour du matériel de formation

· Fournir la formation aux membres du personnel au moyen de cours en classe, de démonstrations pratiques et d'exercices

· Bien comprendre la façon de mettre en pratique les compétences relatives à la construction, à l'entretien et à l'inspection de la voie

· Bien comprendre la façon de mettre en pratique le Règlement d'exploitation ferroviaire du Canada et les Instructions générales de l'Ingénierie se rapportant au personnel et à la protection de la voie

· Promouvoir une culture de leadership pour assurer la sécurité des membres du personnel, de l'exploitation et du public

· Évaluer l'aptitude des stagiaires à démontrer leurs compétences relatives aux tâches

· Administrer et noter les examens

· Remplir les documents relatifs à la performance et à la qualification, et veiller à ce que toutes les activités de formation soient saisies dans le Système de gestion de l'apprentissage (LMS)

· Fournir d'autres formations relatives à l'ingénierie, selon les besoins

Entretien et mise à jour du matériel du centre de formation

· Évaluer l'état de fonctionnement des outils et du matériel avant la formation pratique

· Réparer les outils et le matériel défectueux

Mise au point d'un plan de formation complet

· Collaborer avec des directeurs et des cadres supérieurs pour établir et préciser les besoins de formation fonctionnels

· Élaborer un plan d'exécution de la formation

· Établir le calendrier de prestation de la formation de façon à répondre aux besoins de formation

Conditions de travail

Ce poste prévoit des conditions de travail standard dans un bureau et un horaire de travail normal du lundi au vendredi. La personne qui l'occupe doit être disponible pour travailler le soir et les fins de semaine, au besoin. Le travail exige un minimum de déplacements (25 %) à des fins de formation sur le terrain et de vérification de la qualité.

Construction et entretien de la voie de l'Ingénierie

· De 5 à 10 ans d'expérience en construction et entretien de la voie de l'Ingénierie

o Expérience en tant que superviseur adjoint ou superviseure adjointe Voie

o Expérience à titre de superviseur ou superviseure Voie*

Formation, certification et désignation

· Diplôme d'études secondaires

· Qualification à titre d'agent ou d'agente d'entretien de la voie ou de superviseur adjoint ou superviseure adjointe Voie

· Permis de conduire en règle

· Formation complémentaire en ingénierie ou dans d'autres domaines connexes, comme la physique ou les mathématiques*
